High School Team program dates are: September 6 - November 13
Girls practice 3:30-5:00 pm Mon-Fri
Boys practice 3:30-5:00 pm M-F
Advanced group practices 3:00-6:00 Tues-Fri and 9-12 Sat-Sun
Adjustments to the schedule (times and days of the week) may be made after the first week of the season depending on registration.
Fall rowing fees are $1400 for the Regular High School group and $1800 for the Advanced group
There are no refunds after the first week of the season.
Practice is held at our boathouse in South Norwalk near the Maritime Center, the address is 11 Goldstein Place
All rowers will need to purchase a team "unisuit". Cost is $80. Orders will be taken during the first week of practice. We have some gear available on the "Online Store" tab in the left column. We have a "Boathouse Sports" online store with lots of great gear (jackets, sweatshirts, backpacks, etc.) which will open for orders after the first week of the season. Order will be taken for 10 days, then it will close for the season. More info to follow.
New rower parent meeting will be held either before or during pre-season week. Email Laura
for more info.
Full team parent meeting will be held in the NCHS cafeteria tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 12 7 pm NCHS Cafeteria. At least one parent from each family must attend.
You do not need join the team for all 4 seasons; however, most rowers join for at least fall, winter, spring and part of summer.

Drop-off and Pick-up at the Boathouse: When you drop off and pick up rowers for practice, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT drive down Goldstein Place or to the boathouse itself. Please drop rowers on the corner of the Oceanview Diner and pick up there as well. The boatyard is very busy this time of year, and a dangerous place for added traffic.
Please bring non-disposable water bottles to practice: In the interest of the environment, the coaches ask that rowers not bring disposable bottles of water, gatorade, etc. Reusable bottles such as nalgene only, please!
For changes or updates on practice days due to weather, etc. please check this website. NC Crew policy is "No School; No Practice" and no bus transportation on those days.
If a rower is suddenly unable to attend a practice, call the Coach directly before 2:00pm at the Boathouse at (203)854-5492 and leave a message for his/her coach.
